Phil,

It's not a question of market growth. A ridiculously small fraction of the world's total population has access to a computer. It's a question of margins in an industry facing increasing commoditization. Price elasticity is the focus. Dell's direct model insulates the company to some extent, but I suspect that margins are not going to be quite as impressive as they have been in the past.

Dell's PE is awfully high going into a slow second quarter in an industry in which a price war is underway.
