I am a rookie at this candlestick thing
Thank you for your humorous analysis. I think investing is exactly the art of gambling in its perfect form in this sense. Long-term, the stock price of any good company in good growth industry appreciates (that's why the stock market is getting bigger and goes higher). Long term, gamblers lose their bets to the house (that's why there are more and more casinos and it's not legal in most states). Short-term, my educated guess is as good as a chimpanzee's guess. Sometimes I am right, sometimes I am wrong (more wrong than right). I have 16 in my hands and the dealer has a 9. Technical analysis says that I should draw. I always draw as the book says. My wife always stays. She asks me why after all these years I keep on drawing and get busted. I should follow her style but the book says....Good luck.
