This shows gold relative to the other currencies.
Notice how there has been a break-out in all currencies
except in the US dollar.
The dollar WILL spike soon, though. (IMHO)
Then, the golden bull will run strong.

Hi Bobby, thanks for the links. Believe it or not, there's actually a debate over whether technology has had any sustained impact on worker productivity. Only in the last two years have we seen any increases at all. And those pale in comparison to what was happening in the 50's and 60's.

I'm long term optimistic too, but not before things get much worse. Our economy has gotten old, and weighed down with payments and wealth transfers to entrenched interests. These and other politically motivated distortions (including the stock market and an unsustainable debt load) will have to unwind before the REAL economy approaches the booms of days gone by.
