Hello McPeely, I usually find that the articles you post add zero value to my knowledge. I should however commend you for all the time you spend digging up news that's negative on Sun (or maybe you work for MS PR). Don't you think that IBM going out of their way to support Java has more to do with it's technical merits and the problems that Java solves rather than anything else? It's rather easy to be critical and say "Instead of simply reinventing X11-enhanced network computing as Microsoft is doing, Sun and IBM are insanely pushing Java languages...", but don't you think that if the reasons for choosing Java seem stupidly obvious to the analyst, that he's missing the point? I would rather like these analysts to comment about products, the problems they solve and why they are better than the competitors'. The JavaOS for e-business is just getting started and these analysts talk like they know more than the people who actually develop them. You and twister bring a lot of humor value to the thread.
