Well Herrera was quoted in full by Reuters and in part by Stockwatch
who has taken a dim view of Crystallex. He was not notified he would lose the election before the gold show. The election was after the show and I doubt if anyone except Kim Campbell is notified that they will lose an election. He spoke as a Chairman of the Mining Commission.

NDP. Well they are like many populist parties for every feel good motherhood liberal issue where every last mother's son gets all they think they should get. The National Socialist Party in Germany had the
same initials and startlingly similar credo. We call it the Nazi party now. Anyone can trumpet the righteous fight. Finding the money in a top heavy government where already the GDP is 65% civil service is the problem. First people have to make those insane free booting capitalist profits in order to pay those high taxes to afford the all inclusive government programs that give every SIG a badge of honour and a place in socialized alternatives.

I would give them all the VC at birth and a card with "NO FREE LUNCH" printed in gold on both sides and and the admonition that survival is the survivors job. All a gov't has to do is prevent its regulations from allowing the regulated to monopolize any bailiwick. Something Canada has steadfastly refused to do. Crown corporations and Bell Canada and the endless gov't fiat monopolies of what is essentially just industry are examples of how to stifle innovation, competition and drive up costs. Public health? Well it is hardly provided in the States and poorly in Britain. It drove many of Ontario's doctors to Arizona. It could be provided better privately and cheaper. I stayed in a private clinic in 1965. The cost was 150 dollars per day and I got a state of the art operation (brain transplant.) I thought that was exorbitant until I was informed that the 1965 rate for a provincially administered) hospital bed in Ontario was $450.00 per day. (I can verify this)

Best and most all-guaranteeing-of-freedoms constitution I have ever read? The USSR constitution and declaration of Rights. It was great rhetoric. One thought after reading that that every citizen of Communism was his own King. It was somewhat more poorly realized in practice it is understood.

Moot, Good post IMO.

I do not believe that Asencio is the problem, rather he is exploiting potential problems.
