Off Topic, sort of...

I am continually amazed at how many people think that the mass of people who visit/post to SI, will have some affect upon the market outcome/trend. Even if all 100,000 registered users, and all 400,000 possible lukers bought 100 shares of CPQ, it wouldn't even equal one day's trading of that stock, let alone a more heavily traded issue. Or even put a dent in the 10,000 equities out there.

Even funnier are the folks who think that because a couple hundred people follow them, that their forecasts could influence the markets. The most we can do is share, inform, learn, and help. And if you think about it, that has a much more positive effect on the world than guessing a number.

And for all those who emailed me about my daughter - We thank you. The spots on her kidney are not cancer, just fatty tissue from the diabetes complicatons, and she has no lactate digestive enzyme left, so no dairy products, ever. She is doing ok.

Happy Easter and Passover, my friends.
