Thanks for summarizing EW. You are right in that the cycles are subject to interpretation. I give credit to those that do it and even those that think they can do it right.

I use the info to see if it agrees with my simpler TA like Stochastics, Moving Averages, Momentum etc.

Keep posting, I am always ready and willing to learn more.

Frankly, I really do not consider Elliot wave as being mathematical. The only thing that is mathematical about EW is that, I assume, it was statisically analylzed when it was first discovered. Otherwise it is mainly pattern analysis.

The majority of the other indicators deal with finite numbers.

Of all the technical indicators it is probably the most subjective by far.
