Gary-S&P's Investor's Monthly for April '98 lists CSCO in their Platinum Portfolio with a fair value of 94.10. This is printed newsletter I get from FIDO, and I never find the info replicated at S&P's web site. Maybe they can tell you how to get on a mailing list.

Gary, this is in their April issue sent to me by Fidelity. It is called "Investor's Monthly".

Page 3 under " Companies with 10 Straight Years of Earnings Gains"

Csco was picked , along with 38 other stocks, using 5 criteria used by Warren Buffett via a computer screen of 10,000 stocks in the S&P database.

On page 7 CSCO is listed under S&P Platinum Portfolio and is said to be at fair value at $94.10. Fair Value rank of 5 (Highest possible)

"The calculation of fair value is based on fundamentals, such as a stock's profit growth potential, price-to-book value, return on equity, and dividend yield relative to that of the S&P 500 Index. Group 5 is the highest and contains stocks considered the most undervalued. The fair value price of these issues is considerably greater than their current price implying price appreciation potential." (Taken from April issue pg. 7)

I don't know if this is available on the web. Sorry.

Good Luck,

Dennis
