mph-OT Now that you bring up that song, that voice, and Those Memories; viewed from the position of a oilfield services investor, it all makes sense...hard-edged, coarse and gritty as a wood rasp. Ridden hard and scarcely put away at all. Feels pretty homey. No wonder I still break her albums out in search of something or other.... And, if memory serves, The J.J. was a Texas girl!
