Charlotte I suggested people look at Netsonic and try it. I have not had any problems, but that does not mean you didn't. I would suggest that you e-mail Netsonic and tell them your problems. I am not connected with them, only trying the software. Sorry it gave you fits. Ken

I also downloaded netsonic and it works fine except with SI. I close it when I enter SI and start it again when I leave. This seems to correct any problems.

Same here on Netsonic. Actually when I removed it, I also removed winsock and had to re-install Windows.

NetSonic problems. Received this from Gene Kravner, founder of NetSonic: "With NetSonic IntelliFetch fully enabled, NetSonic goes ahead and prefetches all the links on the page, including the links that say "Remove This Bookmark". Well, as you can imagine, as soon as NetSonic prefetches "Remove This Bookmark", this bookmark will be removed. Thus, in order to run NetSonic on SI, IntelliFetch should be disabled! We will be addressing this issue in the next drop of NetSonic that will include support for the Robot Exclusion protocol which will prevent prefetching on SI automatically (since they have specifically tried to ots)." Please pass the word along on SI if you hear anybody else complaining about this."
