Thanks for the info on Prudent Bear holdings, very interesting. I think the fund is more bearish than prudent, though. I think it's a big mistake to ever be net short, unless in a confirmed bear market - that's trying to time the market. Also with rare exceptions big caps do not make good shorts (at least not in this market). IMHO we can beat the pants off the pros by sticking to the smallcap broken stocks.
