Hi Penny ....

~You seem to have restricted your discussion of reality to the more romantic aspects of cyberlife.~ Now I am not sure that is or was my intent Imagination and thoughts are more important in the conveyance of words that the physical aspects. I have been posting on the Gentile and Jews as a devil's advocate.

~But didn't Carol bring up the reality of ideas as one of her possibilities?~ Well yes in fact she did. I do not see the point since most thoughts are ideas

You next few sentences has an aire of imaginary preception where oppose to sensory preception.

~And why would an 'idea of grandeur' be any less grand because it springs from an overbearing or even unpleasant ego? ~ Yes BUT the reality of preception rules today. That is human nature.

~Is it not the idea that is important? ~ I consider this redundant so I have to say yes and refer to previous answer.

Now I compare the internet and cyberworld to that of radio. The idea is communicated asnd conveyed but there it still lacks the sensory imput. How many times have you envisioned a radio personality and it was nothing like you imagined.

~but my, you are cynical!~ Absolutely ... enough is enough.

Casualty of Devotion

Is all we desire within plain sight,
that which once created so much lust,
placed on a shelf now covered with dust,
patiently waiting for a hint of light?

There was a time when the flame was bright,
now neglected to a darken spot,
though the blaze gone, the coals still burn hot.
A little fresh air could restore the light.

Imprisoned into a total life of the night,
craving attention money can't buy.
How long till neglect causes love to die?
Is it too late to turn up the light?

A positive turns to negative might,
there, a chance someone will discover
that which is hid and placed under cover?
Who will take the time to turn up the light?

One man's blindness is another man's sight.
One man's prize is another man's loss.
One man's dullness is another man's gloss.
One man's plight is another man's light.
