Good Afternoon to everybody

I am living in Europe and follow the AMZN saga closely.
Let me give you an objective opinion from a non-US point of view :

Ordering a book from outside of the US with AMZN is nonsense.
A $10 book (saving $3 on discount) has $10-$30 shipping
charges. International companies like Bertelsmann, B&N, Borders or
Warner Bros. have distributers in allmost every country in the
world. They process your order and have their local subsidiaries
shipped the mechandise to you, faster and less expensive (no customs!)
And how do you return a book to AMZN from abroad ?

Putting this into perspective, I see AMZN as just another, yet
stylish and fashionable bookstore. As a European investor I can
not understand how AMZN is beeing compared and valued with the
likes of AOL and YHOO.
