True, but I just went thru 20 stocks recommended by Investors Alliance as companies with growing dividends over the past 5 or 6 years and they're all paying way under a dollar annual. Of course they're talking a buy and hold long term. I also just checked 40 REITS, and they're paying mostly 1-2.50 annually. Those stocks all have options also as I might be able to find an option play for more cash flow. If you go to REITS- buying 1 or 2 weeks before div. thread, you can get some names from Richard Barron and a few others that pay around 10% yield. I'm holding RFS which pays 8% yield, which comes to $1.50 a sh annually. Johndee
