Add to your last line the unintended consequence that the shorts' "valiant efforts" have fed the fire in low-float story stocks like AMZN (100% of the float short), YHOO (60%) and many others with short interest ranging from 20 - 50%.

If the Internet longs are REALLY smart, they will sell near the top then short whatever they can when the tide inevitably turns.

The best traders will come out 100% ahead of both the longs and the shorts on this thread.

I haven't played this tide either way. I'll be happy to settle for a few crumbs before we move on to the next "hot" sector.

About shorts and democracy, yes, and I hope it was understandable.

BTW, about econ. and politics. Looks like today massive "investing" strategy based on Chile's experience. I hope no one wants to use their political experience.
