Of wise men of the East and stuff.Lucky guy you are to get travelling to the East and all that.. are you deep in that transcendental thing which my dad talks about the 60s (is this thing and the wise people still around?). Well I am here, aren't I ????<VBG> I hear the temp runs 100 or more at all times...perpetual sauna...don't need to lose weight myself. Never say never, given enough time anything is possible,if nothing it will clear the body of all the toxic elements that one gets from consuming all'em Mcstuff and 'monosodium-trihydraxine-ethylbenzamine-gamma peroxy gluttonate'.<gg> Besides the whole country is not sauna-like all the time as some 7 North Eastern States are mild in climate and winter is snowy.Other states have regions of hilly areas where the temperature is less than 70 degrees throughout the year.So the 'hell-hole-impression' one gets from the Western media is not entirely accurate and farther from the truth.Do they talk Chinese on internet, or for that matter, Italian, Spanish, Indian etc.. I've never seen any other language other than Americanish.? They sure do,so do the Italians, the Spaniards, but Indians can manage in English though they have software available in almost all 18 or so languages. As for Dell, don't know what the business plan is.. can't see China folks going for hi-price pcs before phones and tvs and cars.... maybe Mike's planning to sell the $500 pc in China. Dell business plan in China is a very clear and a deliberate one.A 100,00 sq.ft factory is fast nearing completion and the plan is to implement the same business model there as well, with minor variations to suit the country specific needs,I am sure.I don't think they will be selling $500.00 pcs to the consumer but rather they will be more interested in business customers and government entities, just like it is here in the U.S,I think we leave that 500 dollar job to Compaq and the like as they seem to be extremely good at that sort of thing. As for the Chinese preferring a TV, a car etc before they consider a PC, let me say that you haven't obviously heard about a study recently done in China about customer preference. The study has proven that the Chinese rather buy a PC before they buy any of the stuff you mentioned.I guess they have different priorities in life than some of us. Lastly, whether a stock is your religion or not shorting DELL will be hazardous to your financial health,if you don't believe me ask McNabb Brothers,Jim Patterson or any of them perpetual bears whose are die hard pessimists. Now allow me to depart in my own volition,if you will please.
