How about a NEW thread dedicated to guessing the price of LSI in August or any other month for that matter and imagine the prize is $10 million. You can then go on to fantasize how you will spend your winnings. This NEW thread can also discuss what price Intel will be paying to buy out LSI in November. 30 5/8 in August and 60 from Intel. Of course with my $10 million I'll be putting it all in LSI because it's going to 60 when Intel buys them out! :-) After that I'm getting out of stocks completely and will stop reading all these damn threads that I waste time reading.

Beachbum,

Your contest is interesting because with one little entry we find out more about the individuals on this thread than with their postings.

If your prize is a little scary than it is quite suitable for this contest b/c except for Peter everybody is pretty much in the bullish camp. In fact no one seems to expecting disappointing results this month, not even Peter.

God, it is a little spooky, since this was the same sentiment as back in October.

....but LSI can't disappoint us twice like that, so we should have a good earnings and conference call from Wilf. After all he did put his beer money up as proof of his conviction to a rosier picture.<vbg>

Put my guess in @ 24. LSI seems fairly valued somewhere around here. No, I'm not an LSI bear--I've been long this stock on and off the past two years. It's the rest of the market that's overpriced.
