I hear you, believe me (or don't). You and Mr. Houston and I are of slightly different views, however. I believe that the pharm-side of the house (thru GXO and deals with the likes of Pfizer) will inevitably hit on something, keeping that division at least level in the near term. At the same time, I believe the engine division, via xonon, in and of itself, will eventually 5-bag the entire company some time next year. Re-read Lehman's view, in pertinent part:

"These latest developments in the combustion business reaffirm our belief that Catalytica's emission technology is unmatched in the industry."

No one is doing what xonon is already OEM'ing. What California requires in terms of emission levels, so goes the world. Xonon has California's maximum permissible number beat by a factor of 10. There simply is no contest.

And then, I believe the tech division, working on projects such as Syntroleum's catalyst for their GTL technology- if it hits- can also eventually 10-bag the company.

Are you familiar with Syntroleum's work in GTL? Arguably, it is the only truly workable idea on recovering 90% of the natural gas on the planet and making it usable. Not just usable, but usable in extremely low emission.

I admit to being a hopeless hypster, but I also believe very strongly in this company and I think the point is that the stock is super cheap at this price. As you know, I am not alone. Good luck to us all. Greg
