Nope. IBM has too many incompatable software and hardware systems,
and Java is the glue that is supposed to make them compatable.

You had the answer there. It's not just IBM. It's the entire
industry with so many incompatible systems and too much time spent
on making compatible protocols. IBM realized it's value more than
anybody else. You show me an alternative to Java. If you say it's
ActiveX, forget it...it's server is only WindowsNT.

The JavaOS for e-business was a politically motivated event. Of
course, when you are blinded with the Java religion you are unable to
recognize such things.

yeah right...and McNealy told you that? I guess your assumption is
that people who speak highly of Java are just blinded by religion...
maybe discretion is not a better part of you.

Good luck with your Sun investment...if you had one.

Cheers,

Babu

Mr. McPeely,

I trust you had a great weekend, on the links. I'm sorry your favorite golfer, Craig Stadler did NOT win The Masters this year.

I find it so interesting to watch the sunw perma bulls squirm when presented with FACTS they're none too comfortable with. For example, I asked an innocent question. What do sunw employees do with themselves on flights while the rest of the corporate travelers get work done? Simple question, I felt. Do you realize that only one of six responses even bothered to ADDRESS the quesiton. And that person suggested using some kind of weird sattelite system instead of notebooks. The rest set out a well established campaign to malign the messenger, perhaps with the intent to deter such embarrasing questions in the future. I've said it before. This is a WONDERFUL labaratory for the study of human nature.

I'll give you'll another chance to practice DENIAL. What, pray tell, do you sunw worshippers DO on the plane, since you have sworn off the evil notebooks and their msft filled hard drives? I mean, doesn't SKYMALL get a little old?
