pancho,
i certainly am an average joe. however, this joe doesn't think like the average joe. i feel the market is due to pull back significantly and major indexes could show losses for 98 and 99. if the average joe felt that, we wouldn't be trading at record levels.
i was burned to a crisp by a pullback in tech last fall and feel very comfortable with a heavy short % for my holdings going forward.
