If a terrorist sets off a nuclear bomb an hour or more before the market opens, then I think you would stand a good chance of getting TAVA for the 12 3/16, or maybe a wee bit less.

Good Luck,

Steve

Dear Allen,

Decide at what price you want to get in and set a limit order. TAVA has often gapped up at the opening only to go substantially lower by mid-day and often rebounds from there. If you think that 12 3/16 is a good entry level. Put in a limit order at that price and if the ticker crosses 12 3/16 on the ask you will get the stock. OF course if it goes lower you might feel that you could have got a better price, but then you would need to spend your day watching the ticker or set a lower limit price. If TAVA opens higher you can chase the price or sit tight hoping that the price will return to your limit order. IF I knew what was the best thing to do in these circumstances I would be too busy counting my money to post on SI, so do what you think is best.

Jeff

Anyone? I have another silly question. If you place a limit order above the ask, say 12 3/8 and the market opens with the ask at say 12 1/4, will the order fill at the lower price?
