I am replying only because you are immdiately jumping to the conclusion I am saying what you consider Pagan history. I go back in research to see how pagan sects twisted the truth because of failure to understand just like the people of today. Word of mouth passed from generation to generation is not very reliable. I can show you probably 15 or 20 sons of God that came to earth before Jesus. The story of the bible and the savior is chiseled in the walls of of Egyptian buildings and sanskrit interpretation by scholars of all languages has been able to translate them. Get a copy of the book of the Egyptian Dead. You will find the Egyptian son of God in that who died was buried and raised from the dead, healed a Lazarus in Bethlehem. and the manger scene and wise men are carved in the walls many years before Jesus. No need to ask for any more discussion. I just don't have time to look up references, type them up and answer everyones questions. If you care to research for your self I will be glad to to assist if you check the things as I list them. Neither accept them or reject them until they are proved to your satisfaction. The path is not for everyone and the idea of research is to not jump to conclusions. I doubt the man who wrote the bible mistakes you checked knows the real truth. But you can't refute the bible is full of mistakes with no historical records. The Pharisees and Sadduccees were knocked in the bible. The Roman government decided on the high priest from the Sadducees and fought to destroy the Pharisees who were righteous people. They refused to accept Roman slavery and were causing problems of rebellion. You say you were raised with both religions. Research Jewish literature and read what their history says. They do keep records. You will find that Peter was the leader of the newly created religion. Paul never saw Jesus the man. He saw him in a mystical experience and was so strong with his following the Romans just diluted his teaching changing some things with additions of their making and let them ride as one of the books. There was definitely a conflict with Paul and Peter. He was never accepted by Peter. I believe if interetedthe best thing for you to check next is the book I recommended, "Who is the King of Glory. It gives a solid foundation with references as it carries you through the book where each new explanation can be verified. Not only that it makes you understand so clearly how it all came about and its true origin. This has nothing to do with atheist, infidels, and such as a lot of the new age movements and cults. This is just so so you can understand your true savior of the Spiritual Christ and not the historical Christ Jesus. I have no doubt Jesus was aware of the Christ Spirit. But Jesus cannot save you anymore than one else. You have to open your heart to the God within you. The Apostle Paul explains the Christ in us, we will have the mind of Christ, etc. Paul and Luke are the only ones teaching this. It is mentioned in their books over 100 times and no one reads. The new covenant tells us no man shall teach his brother who is God. I will write my laws in his mind and in his heart. I will be to him a God and he will be to me a son. And I will remember his iniquities no more. Read it yourself in Hebrews. Ask any pastor or church christian what is the new covenant? I have done so with at least 1,000 people. All come back and say ot is the new testament. Not one has defined it any further. Read it and think about it. What did Jesus say time and again? Not I but the Fathere "in me." I really doubt if one person will bother to devote the time necessary for research. They just start and never bother to prove or disprove facts. It's too easy to confess a few words and think they are responsible no more. When you know for sure the, "I AM that I AM" your search will be over I can assure you. I will not answer anymore questions until I decide some one is truly searching for themselves. Peace dear brother. I truly have no desire to start a following or change anyone.
