I don't want to be making a big leap of faith (although today is a good day for it <g>) but don't you think this article reflects ANCR's leading position for winning a big chunk of IBM's FC business?
IBM wants to use Ancor switches for its own backbones and will resell a FC/GE bridge. That's a pretty solid "heads up" for an expansion of their relationship. Sounds to me like we've only seen the tip of the "iceburg." <g>

Another positive is this news will take the bite out of Q1 earnings report...

Another question.

Isn't this Interop product announcement non-public? How did Marc Songini, of Network World, get access to this info? IBM personnel appear to be the main source(s) used in the article. Nice to see the publicity coming from the reseller (IBM) and not from Ancor IMHO.
