*MEG Morsel Alert*

G.M.Ross, a geologist for GSC (Geological Survey of Canada), gave a very well presented talk on the terms/concepts of 'BHT' vs. the 'BHC' (Buffalo Head Terrane vs. BHCraton), first thing Wed. morning. - Briefly,

Ross pointed out that the term 'Buffalo Head Craton' has been used to describe the region, yet the limits of the BHC have never been defined. The delineation of the BHT was based on potential field signatures, and refined by the examination and isotopic analysis of drill core samples of shallow basement. Ross explained how the Buffalo Head Terrane and the Chinchaga Domain to the west collided and have shared the same Preterozoic crust, remaining stable, since about 1.99Ga.

Ross said the 2 have acted as one since. He concluded that given the similarity in geochronologic and isotopic evolution between the BHT and the Chinchaga Domain, the 2 elements as one should be considered "The Buffalo Head Craton."

more to come!

>>> Sheldon postulated that to date, they (Ashton et al.) have been getting clear, white stones from their samples consistently. Sheldon said that stones recovered have been of gem quality about 70%-75% of the time. ( ! ) DS went on to say that this suggests a 60%-65% end gem quality rate.<<<

I and a few others almost shit in our pants that Don would make such a statement. I would have thought that gem quality on the little sample should have been kept confidential until at least the 450t sampling is complete. The gem quality can change drastically but gives us a good indication of where we are heading. As well, the value placed on the yellow stone of 11,000 has been a rumor for a while but now that he verbally said this in public leads me to beleive that Pure Gold is putting pressure on Ashton to release such info. I wonder what Ashton had to say about this.

I suspect that the markets don't beleive Don Sheldon's remarks, otherwise, the stock would not be trading at these prices. Such confirmation should have easily given both Ashton and Pure Gold an increase of at least 25% market cap.
