18? Not likely. Looks like investors aren't too exicted by the new strategic direction. Frankly, I too am disappointed: this seems to maintain course and speed with the same strategy we had before I left SGI in May '97, other than spinning off MIPS. Didn't see any mention of Alias/Wavefront; perhaps a deal is in the works but couldn't close before todays announcement.
