It appears that the WFC call action might have been related to a rumor that NB was going to make a play Monday for WFC. They apparently have a reputation for moving after 3 day weekend holidays. However, it appears that BAC is a more likely target.

Lisa,

Me too.. took a few days off and I am out about 700 messages in total..

Wow..

What did I miss, can anyone summarize, besides the obvious Plonk stuff... puts etc...

Looks like the sentiment is bearish, reminds me of last fall..

>>> so let me ask this your 'break' thursday was 1110.87...and adding .50 buffer we get..1111.37 <<<

Hi Lisa, hope you enjoyed Chicago. You're correct about the .50 buffer.

>>> ROFL....ahhhh..the high was 1111.45...Whats wrong with you...you missed it by .08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <<<

Hey I'm a bit rusty....be easy on me ;-)

>>> Anyway...can you post your break for Monday for the cash and the futures if you are still calculating that one <<<

SPX: 1113.60
SPM8: 1122.40

both are actual numbers and do not include any buffer

Good block buying today for the SPX....very good start.
It's the small trades pulling the index lower.

Note: so far we're trading within Thursday's range which was also within Wednesday's range. Breakout coming possibly?

First res has held well...so far.

See ya!
