Well you might be right about them producing for Japan first. The Japanese love of Cameras is no secret. I hadn't heard that!

These new cameras will have a resolution of some 2000x2000 which makes them very close to film. Old Digitals were slow. System on a chip allows them to take 11 frames per second! You won't have to buy film to get near film Quality. This is what all reviewers of previous Digital Cameras have been waiting for! Some barely imagined it would come so soon. At $35 a chip(to LSI), the press releases imply the cameras will soon be cheaper than previous models. Ahhh, and read press releases on the chip and deals with Minlota and Canon? The chip can be programmed for use in many devices- vcr's etc. etc. I posted on this before, somewhere. Gilder first gave me hope for what I imagine- without claiming certain success... . LSI is one of Gilders "Paradigm" stocks.
