That Iomega manager guy better brush up on his homework. Sony evidently also did similar research, which is why Sony HiFi's specs are about twice as fast as Zip's. Iomega Zip is the laggard in capacity, technology, compatibility, AND speed.

Sony is gonna put a big hurt on Iomega, plain and simple.
