Are you using windows right now ? ?????? IRIX 5.3 Use a Mac at home. I took an old Mac SE, upgraded it with a 68030 chip (equivalent to a 386), ran System 6.x (out before Win 3.1 shipped) and had dual monitors. In 1993. 5 years later, you're starting to get bits and pieces of it. Plug and Play is good. Demand a plug and play that works. I've had it for 10 years. Maybe Win98 will have an implementation that doesn't suck, but I won't hold my breath waiting. Is M$ OS software getting better? Definitely. Are the things people are swooning over here examples of state of the art innovation that require a monopoly? Try a computer that really works sometime. -Russ
