Well I'm bushed. But the thing that jumps out at me in your remark has to do with government intervention which is what is occurring right now.

Japan and the US cannot exert a long term motion on the markets, the governments, that is.

I don't recall saying anything about '87 or that it was a Bear Market. Maybe I did, it would have been erroneous. Without looking at a chart I would guess the last Bear was circa '68 thru the late '70s.

1987 was a rather large "Technical Delayed Dip", ala Donald Sew.
