Stans website isn't all that impressive looking anyways.

What's the real story on him?

Thanks Hugh, I guess that makes sense.

I visited the new SCI office in Concord today and spoke with Andrey Jagielo, the president.

The office is a second floor walkup of about 500 to 600 square feet. There are cubicles for 8 people (all appeared to be occupied, lots of computers and cabling) and two private offices. Nondescript but very functional.

It was obvious from my conversation with Andrey that he is significantly more comfortable talking about the technology and the product market than stock market issues. He stated that they are 60 to 90 days away from a significant preproduction run (200 to 400 units) of their new card. Additionally they are establishing a partnering relationship with an ASIC production house for further product development; i.e., reducing the chip count on the card by developing a custom integrated circuit. Andrey felt that they would have no trouble meeting the technical requirements of the Snare contract, and be in full production of the final product by the end of year.

The intent of my visit was not to do DD, but to get a feel of whether they are real or not. Mr. Miller was not present when I was there. My impression coming away is that there is a core group of people who understand the technical side of the business (Andrey mentioned he has over 14 years in the encryptology business) and are working hard to bring a product to market.

For the record I am an independent investor (amateur) with a small holding of SKB stock.
