I have never posted on this thread before.I just ran across it the other day.I just got the two year old asleep and I read some of the post on here and I decided to wright a poem about my feelings. It is not very good but I thought I would share it anyway. Eyes of a child The journey of life is often so strange, to look for God in every place, I looked to the sky, God was not there, I looked around the world and everywhere, I called his name a thousand times, I prayed that me... he would find, where can you be, I asked the Lord, no answer was given not even a word, My life I have searched, but he is no where to be found, God tell me where you are here, no answer was given not even a sound, I resigned myself not to believe, in a God that I could not even see, then... I saw a child, joyfull and so full of life, there I saw God, in a little childs eyes. Lamar

SI Poets Gary, I always enjoy reading your poems and I hope you can find a copy of the book. This is and always has been one of my favorite SI threads. Living Angels, I agree.
