Trader Greg, not only that, there is recent empirical evidence for the success of such a move, and in the same industry no less.

Tradergreg: The only time that you should be worried about a Reverse
Split is if the stock is trading BELOW your entry price...If you are
ahead at the time of a R/S only the amount of stock you hold changes
the total value stays the same..ISGI/TWT pulled a 1:15 R/S at .50.
That took the stock to 7.50 and it did drive up to 10.00 before it
took it's DIVE..That rise to 10.00 was the same as going to .66 pre-
split so I saved a little on my loss..Just wanted to add my .02 in.
