WTMH: a further option is to simply start the contest over as of this week and end at the end of this quarter. To me it seems preferable to being retroactive a week or two and is my first choice. Alternatively, to adopt a "fiscal year" of January 31 and start it over at the beginning of next month, which may be easier for doing monthly totals.

Seems like it's been beaten down about as far as it will go, ready for a bounce this week.
