Durro

I asked my son-in-law about the heart disease problem in Asia and he said the same thing you are saying. Heart disease is not a major problem in Asian countries. He is a cardiologist and spent time in Vietnam hospitals treating the local people. During the whole time he was there, he didn't treat one person for heart disease. The last two sentences sound conflicting, but he was there to treat illnesses and injuries. Preventive medicine may be the reason they would use the scanner. With the "Westernization" of the Asian countries, the possibility gets greater for higher fat diets and stress related illnesses.

Why don't you call Imatron, tell them you are a medical professional, request an information packet, study it, shove it in front of the chiefs of radiology and cardiology at your hospital, pound on them, and see if you can get one of them to buy a machine.

I just had an idea. Why doesn't Imat print up a one page leaflet and send it to all of the share holders with instructions that the next time you go to the doctor, give him the leaflet. This has got to be more effective than direct mail and direct mailings are very effective advertising. Its a good way to plant some seeds in fertile ground. I will forward the idea.
