Regarding Greenspan:

I'm not an economist, so can't provide even a semi-expert opinion of his monetary policy, etc., but I am impressed by his work in his younger days.

After reading his essays in Ayn Rand's "Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal" I am impressed by him -- and consider Ayn Rand's acceptance of his work a significant endorsement.

Now, I'm sure even Alan himself will write off this work as stuff done in his younger and more "naive" days. But nevertheless, it still provides credibility in my eyes, naively speaking of course.
