SteveB and Silicone, Are you trying to convince me or yourselves? Sounds like you are trying to convince yourselves. Why do you think that Morgan Stanley will be the only downgrade? This is just the beginning. As they say, you never find just one cockroach. Where there is one cockroach, there is a whole bunch more just on the other side of the kitchen wall.

Steve B, Steve G, Silicon Warrior, Kingpin et al, Any reason to believe that there will be any points-of-view issued by Grubman and/or Vogel prior to earnings announcements? Don't know this Comfort, but if she is anything like Reagan, I don't hold her in much esteem. MS was WCII's investment banker on their first major debt offering (private placement) in 1995 for approximately $250 million, 5 year, 14%+ money. Any possible relation to that, the so-called "firewalls between analysts and investment bankers" notwithstanding? Also, thanks to all for the quick feedback! Barbara
