Haim,

I have been following this thread and have found it very interesting. At the moment I am short several the richly valued internet stocks and naturally would like to see the markets correct.

I have to agree with you that it will take an outside event of some kind to ignite the puddle of gasoline that has formed......what David has shown us is that the potential for this catastrophic event is upon us, with the magnitude depending on something not predictable via EW.

Some bellweather tech stocks report tomorrow....INTC, TLAB, and others....if they fall short, it could be the catalyst needed to change the euphoric psychology that is mindlessly driving valuations to the historic levels seen. As this thread has mentioned, Japan is another wildcard worth watching.

Haim,
Thanks for the post. That makes an even better case for my concern that bears might be facing a "bear trap" and get suckered into puts again.
But I guess I am stubborn Irish and still believe one can make money on index options.Opportunities do come around once in a while.IMHO, where this market is at the moment the calls are too risky and the rewards on the puts too limited with this general uptrend.I am not smart enough to try and scalp a trade in a matter of minutes..I need a day or two at least for a window to trade options.
Regards,
Barbara
