improve the quality of Java education in universities and colleges, Borland International, Inc.
(Nasdaq: BORL - news) today announced JBuilder University Edition, a special educational
version of its award-winning Java development tool. Available free-of-charge to qualified
educators, JBuilder University Edition is a customized version of the JBuilder integrated
development environment (IDE) created to assist university and college educators in teaching
proper programming techniques using the Java language. Borland also announced the launch of a
new informational website designed to promote the awareness and use of Borland's development

JBuilder University Edition
JBuilder University Edition is a customized version of the Borland JBuilder IDE, designed to

University Edition includes a professional-level IDE with fully integrated application browser,
project manager, code editor, HTML viewer, graphical debugger and compiler. The software
