Target price of 45...

Seems like a lot of analysts have set a target price of $45 for year end 1998. How much importance should we place in this?

As an experiment, I'd like to have the analysts predict the weather and have the weathermen (er..persons) predict the target stock price and see if anyone notices a difference.
