''Our management knows of no reason for the activity on the stock,'' Beth Pastor, a spokeswoman for the company, told Reuters. In late-morning trading, the shares stood up 3-1/8 at 7-3/8 with more than 3.5 million shares changing hands. Six days ago -- on April 7 -- the shares were at 1-7/16. Re: Magal, they have superior bomb detection technology, and there is a huge push to enhance that aspect of airport security. As I recall, though, they are at a strategic disadvantage to INVN, because invision is an american company and gets preferential treatment in contracts. There is, however, a huge European market and Magal is well positioned there. Besides a momentum rush from this board, the best thing that can happen to MAGSF stock price is another tragedy. Look at the chart at see what it did when any number of things happened, the NY or FLA air crashes, the Saudi military bombing. We have had almost two years without such an event and the stock has languished. dp
