Hi!

May I also throw in the federal govt. investigation thing into the pot, along with MSFT also in the same stew. I watch this stock drop steadily since that thing came up.

Anyone has any idea what's up with that?

Again, I'll say this. Anytime there is a merger involved, people (engineers included) are going to get killed in the process. It's a fact of life. It's just a matter of how the company is affected in the quarterly earnings that's going to be the factor. I've seen this many times when I was at MCAF and the company continued to prosper. Billy Boy has warned investors a long time back (Dec 1 1997) that this will happen...and it has. Please keep that in mind when you are thinking, "oh, the company's going down because people are getting laid off." It's called a REORG, folks!!!

(Sorry for the tone of this letter. It's Monday, and I'm not in the best of moods this morning.)

The one challenge Billy Boy's gonna have is hiring new people. Engineers now have the upper hand in demanding for higher salaries and better benefits. This should be interesting to watch...

Cheers,
Joanna
