It may not be installed. Typically downloads just go to wherever you said to save it. The browser doesn't know to say install it. It is compressed looking at the site, so it needs something done to it to run. If you did nothing with it and didn't make any settings changes with it, I would say it is not installed.

Maybe this is the placebo effect.

There is a note at the bottom about uninstalling, saying to use the windows uninstaller in Add/Remove Programs.

You should have had to register the product, otherwise installation is aborted.

Assuming you run Windows95, there is a small rocketship on the toolbar. There is also a very prominent tip display that tells you what the program is doing - unless you minimize it. The program default directory is C:\Netsonic.

Further, the program requires that you choose a variety of options, including speed, before you start.

If you are worried about your Netscape bookmarks being deleted or corrupted, save that file. On the top of your bookmarks just go to "file" and click "save as".
