Venkie, I read an interesting article that refutes the notion that the lower powered PCs will exponentially overtake the more powerful market.

The basic premise is that software is becoming much more complex due to the expanded capacity of the faster, more powerful PCs.

Low end units will not have the power to run this cutting edge software, and thus will not be as favorable as some have suggested. This might seem elementary to you, but it is a point that I had not really considered, and thought worthy of pointing out to our friends on SI. In any event, I don't see this cited as a defense of high-end PCs as much as it ought to (due to its significance).
