Linda, I vote for your #3. "The floating fat man down a lazy river
rally" as the definitive cause of the resurgence of Iomega. However,
there is another underlying reason for this, and that is because
the floating fat man is being chased by Rock the Crockhead in his
plastic boat made out of 70 floppy disks glued together. It is Rock's
furious paddling with Sony Vaporware HiFD disks that is stirring up
the waters, thus causing all the sleeping IOM investors to take notice.
..It is also because his prediction of $4.80 has utterly failed
and he is desperate to get out while he has 1/16 point profit
left in his short position at $7.25. His short partners in crime have more
sense than he does and they covered last week. Over the last few
weeks, Rock the Crock has had to bail out of his AOL and YHOO shorts,
and his quick 20% losses have wiped him out and put him back at the
harbor - offering to scrape barnacles for lunch. Now the IOM game
has flipped on him again, just when he thought he could bail with a
3/4 point profit. (Rockhead never counts commission costs in his figures.)

Whoopy doo, as usual, he is back in the stew.

Regards, David S.

Linda.....What's a "Floating fat man down a lazy river rally??? Sounds like you've described my current investment objective to a "T". :-)

I'm still looking for a one or two penny loss for Q1. Reported loss could shoot as high as 9 or 10 cents if IOM tries to clear the decks for future by writing off every little thing they think they can get away with .....not a bad idea.
