I used this to accelerate my access:

microsoft.com

You do NOT need an ISDN line to use it. It is built into Windows98.

Janice, what happened on my Portfolio Tracker was:

I went into Edit portfolio to add new stocks, when I was finished, I clicked on return to portfolio, the way I always do. When I returned to my Portfolio, imagine my horror, the only stocks there was the new ones I had just added, the other 35 stocks was gone, I tried to go Back and retrieve them. But it was no use.

My Portfolio Tracker now, had a total of four new stocks, that was it..

When I downloaded Netsonic, I saved it to a Temp file on my C drive, then after the download was finished, I just went into my Temp file and clicked on it and the installation started, it asked me to select options as it installed, maybe I selected something that caused this problem, I don't know. It worked great and it was so much faster, I was thrilled, until I noticed about three hours later, that it was deleting the things I had saved on the sites I visited. After clicking the reload, when it told me too. All my bookmarks on SI disappeared except Feelings and that was the one I was in at the time.

Geez, strange. The little rocket just sits there on my Taskbar, now with a red X on it.. Waiting to be reactivated.

The guy at my investment service told me that it screws up secured sites like online banking and investment sites.
