during its buy back for a 26% addition gain, or to be responsible,
sell their shares to vivus at $11+??

I already knew about the one person selling in February in the 11's.
This sale is meaningless until you find out more info eg did this person perhaps have stock options he needed to exercise soon? He may have sold shares because he knew the earnings would not beat estimates and will now execute the options at a lower price. Many other explanations are possible. Still holding long and will not bail.
PS don't put in stop losses, the MMs probably dropped this sucker below 5/8 to buy up the stops and cover lower. Also will want all those April 10 calls expire worthless.
