Laura The report goes on to say..."While Cisco has openly said that it would like to partner with the large players in this space Lucent has openly said to investors that it does not want to partner with Cisco and is also quite candid about its desire to acquire in the networking market once pooling restrictions are lifted in October. Meanwhile, Cisco's relations with Northern Telecom appear to be much more amicable. For example, Cisco recently acquired NetSpeed, a DSL provider, in which Nortel had a minority interest as well as right of first refusal." It's starting to look more like Cisco will partner with Northern Telecom. Boy all I can say is the next year will be interesting! Very bullish on Cisco! regards Eric
