"Six months and nothing happened in Boston"

I believe that caws wireless internet service requires a telephone line for the uplink, who wants this? this is wired wireless.

I had thought that the FCC had granted caws a waiver for two way wireless internet but i had read somewhere that the modems require a telephone line.

We will have to wait longer.

Two way internet over the mmds spectrum is very technically feasible,
but the FCC has not approved it yet. Remember the FCC is really in the business of selling spectrum to help Clinton reduce the federal debt.
The FCC is currently selling LMDS spectrum , they have no interest in doing any thing to increase the value of the spectrum that caws holds, thus reducing the value of LMDS spectrum.

If you think back Ken, it has been alot longer than six months since Boston was started. This was one of he two areas built out with BANX; the other was Virginia Beach/Norfolk (which has also been silent). With the systems initially being built and tested over 18 months ago, and no real sales from them since, it makes you wonder if the systems even work correctly.
