purething, I shouldn't worry about Reggie. He's a tire kicker and will be gone in 10 days. Likely he's an alter-identity/shill of some other regular poster on these threads.

>>"I will not stand idly by, however, and witness you savage Reginald B.Arturo."<<

You are quite right purething, I completely misread the good Doctor.
I spent 30 minutes with the dictionary deciphering his words and it turns out that he is a kind and gentle man who loves dogs and children. He had some very nice things to say about me too. I am so embarrassed that I called him an idiot. I hope he will forgive me. I have been trying so hard lately to watch what I say and not hurt anyone's feelings. I hope you can forgive me too, purething.

Jim

Purething, mon petit papillote!
I was delighted to see your spirited and noble defense of the erudite and logomaniacal Dr. Arturo to the recusant and omophagous Jim, our resident enfant terrible, who (I hasten to add) has always been an absolute gentleman and sweetheart to me. Rexie, as I fondly address Dr. Arturo privately, for he is truly the king that his name implies, is such a dear l'homme de lettres et d'esprit, a polymath sans pareil, but so often misunderstood and ridiculed by those who are unable to pierce the orutund verbal shroud concealing his chrestomathy, although I personally have encountered no difficulties collimating his pensivities.
I am sure he is deeply grateful to you for your touching modern ennactment of le preux chevalier.
